Oserian Development Company
Kenyans in the Rift Valley region often do not have access to clean drinking water and poverty is rampant. Already high food prices continue to increase, making it difficult for Kenyans to provide for their families. Additionally, the lack of good infrastructure makes it difficult to access distant markets or jobs. Oserian became Fair Trade Certified™ to improve farmer livelihoods and showcase its commitment to positive farming practices.
My primary goal is to see all my children achieve university education and I need all the help I can get to fulfill this dream. I am grateful for the support that I have received through Fair Trade. I urge the consumers of our flowers to continue buying more Fair Trade flowers so that we may continue improving our lives and those of our families and communities. ”
