Fair Trade standards enhance evaluation criteria for online sustainability authority, GoodGuide

OAKLAND, CALIF. (February 8, 2011) – For years the Fair Trade Certified™ label has been a symbol for high quality, social responsibility and environmental sustainability assuring consumers that their goods were evaluated against rigorous standards that support the welfare of the farmers and workers who grew and sew the products we love. Now Fair Trade standards have received an additional third-party seal of approval from GoodGuide, a scientific rating system that compares products on their health, environmental and social performance.
