Fair Trade USA is hitting the kitchen live on USTREAM with tips on how to make every meal matter by including a variety of Fair Trade Certified ingredients in every dish. Celebrity dietician Ashley Koff RD and renowned chef Malika Ameen share savory and decadent Fair Trade culinary creations that fulfill the body and soul. The segment will be hosted by Mary Jo Cook of Fair Trade USA, and will feature cooking demonstrations for three delicious recipes that are full of Fair Trade Certified Ingredients. The real-time USTREAM format allows viewers to participate in the discussion by submitting questions and comments for Mary Jo, Ashley or Malika via Twitter and Facebook.

Malika Ameen is passionate about beautiful, delicious food. Ameen was raised in a food-focused home where family dinners were prepared from scratch each day. These family dinners proved to be the beginning of a career in the culinary arts. From attending New York's Institute of Culinary Education and the French Culinary Institute, to working with an array of renowned pastry chefs, Ameen has had a stellar background of culinary training.
In 2007, she opened her restaurant, Aigre Doux in Chicago and in 2009 she began creating private order pastries based on her popular desserts. In 2010, she became a contestant on Top Chef: Just Desserts and started her made to order Couture Cookies, byMdesserts.
