We offer compelling, educational and service experiences for students, recent graduates and professionals as volunteers in our Oakland office. You will have the opportunity to work in a professional setting with a talented group of individuals committed to making a difference in the lives of family farmers and workers around the world. Volunteers who can meet the more substantial time commitment of an internship can access a diverse array of projects and assignments that complement educational curriculum in a variety of areas. Recent college graduates and transitioning professionals are also welcome to apply. Most of our internship positions require a minimum of 15 hours per week for 10 weeks. Some positions require a more or less hours or weeks depending on the complexity of the project or assignment.     The Chief Revenue Officer is ultimately responsible for growing the market of Fair Trade Certified™ products in the U.S. and beyond, driving both revenue for FTUSA and impact for producers around the world. The CRO must lead the achievement of ambitious business development and sales targets within the context of a 5-year strategic growth plan launched in 2016. The CRO has the advantages of working with an energetic and visionary CEO, an ambitious, entrepreneurial team, and one of the best-known brands in the world of sustainable products.
  • The Director of Impact is a key position on our senior management team, charged with leading the next phase of the implementation and continuous improvement of our Impact Management System (IMS), our approach to defining and measuring the impact of fair trade. As a key leader in a dynamic and changing organization, the Director of Impact is an innovative, hands-on leader who will strategically assess, develop, implement and maintain our approach to monitoring and communicating the impact we deliver to farmers, workers, business partners and consumers. We seek an experienced leader, entrepreneurial thinker with exceptional communications and interpersonal skills who is passionate about making a difference.
