have teamed up to help kick off Oakland’s very first Eat Real Festival
, happening the weekend of August 28-30 in Jack London Square
. The festival is a celebration of scrumptious local and regional foods: fresh summer fruits and veggies, handcrafted local beers and ice cream sold from the back of a bicycle! Festival entry and activities like live music are free.

fundraising dinners benefiting Bay Area nonprofits like TransFair USA are happening at nine different restaurants, including Doña Tomás, in the week leading up to the festival.
