Farmer Talks About Environmentally Conscious and Quality Products

In 2004 I heard through a friend of mine about the existence of a market based on fairness and solidarity for organic and conventional coffee producers (Fair Trade). I was interested in the subject and looked for a way to commercialize that would value my product and give appropriate importance to the environment - things that other organizations didn’t seem to be paying attention to. As a producer and human being, I am worried about both of these issues, because of course we depend on the environment to be able to grow quality products and to guarantee not only our livelihoods but also the livelihoods of generations to come.
