Awarded by the President of Honduras, Beneficio has been recognized for their creativity, quality, and innovation in the international marketplace.
The criteria for the Presidential Award, one of the highest honors in the Honduran coffee community, cover things like export volume, export growth rate, economic stability, innovation, job creation, and economic, social, and environmental programs.

Harr has raised almost $1 million to help end child slavery
This extra-special blog post comes to us from Vivienne Harr, age 9, a champion against child slavery who operated a lemonade stand for 365 days straight. Last weekend she celebrated her 1-year anniversary and announced plans to bottle her delicious Make a Stand lemonade, which is made using Fair Trade Certified ingredients.
