Eco-Fashion on the Catwalk, July 29
Indigenous Designs founders Scott Leonard and Matt Reynolds have been dedicated to Fair Trade and environmentally-friendly fashion for more than 13 years. TransFair USA is excited to partner with this dynamic duo of stylish gentleman as we move forward with our groundbreaking Fair Trade Certified apparel pilot project. To celebrate, we invite you to step out stylishly in support of eco-fashion on Thursday, July 29th. Join us for an exclusive fashion show preview of Indigenous Designs Fall 2010 Line. Savor wine and yummy edibles provided by Fair Trade-friendly companies like Alter Eco, La Yapa, and Pachamama Coffee. This is our chance to look good, do good, and have fun. All guests will be able to special order Fall 2010 designs at 50 percent below retail prices. Orders will be personalized just for you and made just in time for the 2010 winter holidays. Four nonprofits, including TransFair USA, will receive 20 percent of your purchases as a donation.
Guest List Only. This event is open to the first 350 people that RSVP. Register here today to save your spot. (Though the event is free, there is a $10 suggested donation.)
Doors open at 6:30pm and fashion show kicks off at 7:30pm at The Glaser Center in downtown Santa Rosa, CA at 547 Mendocino Avenue. Click here for directions. Last year’s fashion show brought over 150 people out to enjoy the cooperative fundraiser. Sales benefited three Bay Area nonprofits: Go Local, Daily Acts, and the Leadership Institute for Ecology and the Economy. This year’s event brings TransFair USA and Fair Trade Certified into the mix. We would love to see you there!
