I am an experienced nonprofit fundraiser and two months ago I was hired to help inspire individuals and corporations to donate to TransFair USA. Most revenue comes from licensing fees paid by U.S. retailers to sell product with the respected Fair Trade Certified ™ label. But every year the organization fundraises 25-33% of its budget. Without the money donated by foundations, corporations and individuals like you and I, TransFair USA could not do the research, outreach, and marketing needed to launch new Fair Trade products in the U.S.A.
