Awarded by the President of Honduras, Beneficio has been recognized for their creativity, quality, and innovation in the international marketplace. The criteria for the Presidential Award, one of the highest honors in the Honduran coffee community, cover things like export volume, export growth rate, economic stability, innovation, job creation, and economic, social, and environmental programs.

In the mountains of Honduras is the village of Capucas, home to Cooperativa Cafetalera Capucas Limitada (COCAFCAL). This coffee farmer cooperative has more than 70 members, all of whom are dedicated to growing some of the best coffee in the world.
