Happy (Belated) Fair Trade Month! October was a huge month for Fair Trade. There were endless amounts of articles and blogs about Fair Trade Month! All of them were great coverage that helped to increase awareness of the importance of Fair Trade.
I arrived in Ndali, Uganda just after sunrise.  On an early morning bus ride from Kampala, darkness gave way to the rising of the sun over the green tea fields, as we head due south to the Ruhenzori Mountains.  I find myself in Ndali, here to visit with the Mbuku Vanilla Cooperative and Ndali Estates Vanilla exporter.  The landscape in Western Uganda is breathtaking, various shades of green, one on top of the other climbing towards billowy clouds, contrasting with the dark, ominous mountains in the distance.
