At the heart of everything we do at Fair Trade USA is our ultimate goal to alleviate poverty among farming communities around the world. If you're reading this blog, you understand that one way we do that is by helping consumers and businesses understand how they can make every purchase matter.

Today we are unveiling the third and final video in our micro-documentary series, this one about how Fair Trade farmers and workers are producing some of the highest quality goods available on the market. Farming communities around the world are rapidly realizing that quality-not quantity- is directly related to profitability, leading many Fair Trade cooperatives to invest their premium funds in quality control initiatives. By focusing on quality these farmers gain increased market access, strengthen their business capacity and in turn earn more money to support the well being of their families and communities.

As a nonprofit organization, Fair Trade USA received generous funding from the Peery Foundation to create these documentaries. It is through contributions from individuals, businesses, and charitable supporters like Peery Foundation - as well as the commitment of licensed business partners - that Fair Trade USA is able to help grow the Fair Trade movement. Join us now in spreading the word that Fair Trade is improving lives worldwide! Take two minutes to watch this video and then share it with your friends and family via Facebook and Twitter. Every view matters!
