Boston Wakes Up to Fair Trade Certified Coffee

On the morning of May 13, Boston commuters were greeted with coupons for free Fair Trade Certified coffee in 7 T stations.  Between 6-9am, enthusiastic volunteers from the Boston Faith & Justice Network, TransFair USA and Green Mountain handed out nearly 25,000 coupons!  It was an exciting morning - and luckily, we've captured it all on video: httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Tgy6J-vc-0 Boston Wakes up to Fair Trade Certified Coffee The coupon included one free large cup of hot and iced coffee, redeemable at Bruegger’s Bakery-Cafés, which exclusively sell Green Mountain Coffee, and $2.50 off of a package of Green Mountain Coffee at local grocery stores. This event was made possible through a partnership between TransFair USA, Green Mountain Coffee, Bruegger's Bakeries and MBTA.   And of course, with help from our wonderful network of volunteers.  Thank you to all of our dedicated partners!  This event was a great way to kick off Boston's campaign to become a Fair Trade Town.
