Back to School Curriculum for Fair Trade

09/11/2009 - 5:30 PM
Just in time for school, it's the newest addition to Fair Trade curriculums! We have new Fair Trade lesson plans, teacher's notes, and student activities for both public and parochial schools. Take these to your favorite teacher this September as they are welcoming students back to the classroom. The curriculum is based on using a Fair Trade Certified soccer ball as a tangible teaching tool.  A fairly traded soccer ball is a great physical prop to use in the classroom to focus the students attention on the many aspects of Fair Trade, including Social Justice, Geography, Physical Education, Technology, Social Studies, English (reading), and Art. icon-fair-trade-kids1You can download the files here: PUBLIC SCHOOLS Elementary School Guide Junior and Senior High School Guide Fair Trade Students - My Thoughts Fair Trade Game (created by OxFam) PAROCHIAL SCHOOLS Elementary School Guide Junior and Senior High School Guide Fair Trade Students - My Thoughts Fair Trade Game (created by OxFam)
